GOLF ACADEMY

Bintan Lagoon Resort’s Golf Academy offers comprehensive golf coaching to players at all levels. All lessons are structured to cater to each player’s needs and are conducted by professionals. A wide variety of programs is offered from an introduction to the fundamentals, to improving your short game, Lessons are available for individuals or groups of up to 3 people per lesson.

Individual Lessons – ½ hour or 1 hour In these lessons, we can work on any of the following aspects of your game: Full swing with Irons and Woods, Putting, Chipping, Pitching and Bunker play. Computer Analysis is also available. On Course Lessons – 9 holes / 2 hours or 18 holes / 4 hours The lessons encompass course management, decision making, how to get out of trouble and using pre shot routine. Social Game – 9 holes / 2 hours Play golf for 9 holes in the company of our Golf Pro. Introduction to Golf swing and short game – 2 hours The content of this program includes the fundamentals of the swing for Iron and Woods; and stroke technique of the following: Putting, Chipping, Pitching and Bunker play.

Beginners Lesson – 3 hours Designed to give complete beginners a taste of the game, the game briefly covers the following aspects of the game: 1/2 swing and Full swing with Iron, Putting, Chipping and Pitching; and 3 holes on course lesson. Advanced Program – 1/2 hour or 1 hour, 6-10 Lessons The Advanced Programs are tailored to suit your individual needs. Depending on your handicap, some of the areas covered in these programs will include Practice Plans, Practising with Purpose, Round Analysis, Mental Training for Golf and Golf Fitness. Group Lesson Program – 1 hour or 3 hours program The 1-hour lesson covers the fundamentals of the Swing for Iron and Woods, Ball Flight Laws and Maintaining Angles throughout the Swing. Computer analysis is also available. The 3-hour lesson covers the swing for Iron and Woods at driving range, Chipping Pitching and Putting at short game area and 3 holes on course lesson.
