ASIAN GOLF MONTHLY AWARDS
At the annual Asian Golf Monthly golf awards ceremony held on October 21 in Bangkok, Nirwana Bali Golf Club won two awards.
1. Winner-Best Clubhouse in Asia Pacific
2. 1st Runner Up-Best Course in Indonesia
The Asian Golf Monthly Awards are the most recognized in the region in terms of golf, they are voted for by the public (readers) and always have an impressive list of winners. At the awards ceremony there were several hundred golf industry people in attendance from all over the world, and a number of superstar players including Greg Norman, Gary Player and Annika Sorenstam. The resort received excelent exposure and was one of a select group that picked up more than one award.
On behalf of Nirwana Bali, the award was collected by Paul Burley, Vice President of IMG a company the has long been involved with the course.
